Our Call: True service and action!
As students, we have the enthusiasm and zest in making good of our studies and in addressing and defending our legitimate rights and welfare.
As future health care providers, we pledge to offer our knowledge and skills to the most deprived and needy segment of the society.
As part of our society, we can be catalysts for social change.

hs_action@yahoo.comHealth Students' Action believes that education should be relevant. Health science students should be trained and developed for true service to the Filipino people. However, aside from being expensive and based on a western curriculum, our education is geared towards a hospital-based, doctor-dependent, urban-centered health service. It is not attuned to the actual health situation of the Filipino people.
Health Students' Action heeds the call for true service and action.
We are concerned in promoting and defending our legitimate rights and welfare. As students, we have the enthusiasm and the zest in making good our studies and in helping solve the problems we encounter in school.
We are concerned in developing ourselves as health care providers. As future health professionals, we aspire to be of true service by offering our knowledge and skills in the interest of our people, including the most deprived and needy segment of our society.
We are catalysts for meaningful social change. As members of society, we hope for a better future for ourselves and for our countrymen. We desire the economic improvement of our people because this is a determinant in the health condition of our people. As it is now, the economy is deteriorating which puts the life and health of Filipinos, especially the majority who are poor, at risk.
To uphold and defend students’ rights, interests and welfare.
To develop and hone our knowledge, skills and attitude in the true service to the p people.
To provide health services, especially to the most deprived sectors of society.
To respond to and act on health and other related problems affecting us as students and the Filipino people.
